  1. No joinery is structural and lintels must be used above sliding doors and sliding folding doors. Lintels are set up with sufficient clearance above the products to prevent any pressure from above on the products.
  2. The vertical gap, from top to bottom, between the post and slider must be tested at regular intervals and must measure the same.
  3. Sliding doors are to be built-in with window/door beading on the outside of the building.
  4. Sliding doors are sunk 35mm in the floor and folding sliding doors are 22mm.
  5. Ground level must be 100% level as illustrated in Fig. A - (A stone can cause a problem as illustrated in Fig.C)
  6. Top membrane of sliding and sliding folding doors must be secured to lintel leaving a 3mm gap.
  7. All wooden products must be treated with penetrating oils. WOODOC or SILKWOOD products are recommended.
  8. Seal all four sides before building in.
  9. All external edges must be sealed with silicone after installation.
  10. Waterproofing membrane (DPC) must be fitted between the floor and the unit.
